Cookie Policy
Effective date: October 4, 2026
- The site uses only one technical cookie, to remember your language.
- No analytics, profiling or advertising cookies, and no tracking pixels from social networks.
- This is why there is no cookie banner: technical cookies do not require consent.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website saves in your browser. Similar technologies, such as the browser’s session storage, work in a comparable way: they keep some information during your visit.
What we use
| Name | What it does | Duration |
|---|---|---|
pll_language | Remembers the language you are browsing in (English, Italian or Spanish). | 12 months |
wpEmojiSettingsSupports (session storage) | Checks whether your browser displays emoji correctly. | Until you close the browser tab |
Both are technical and are set by our own site. Site administrators who log in to WordPress also receive login cookies; visitors do not.
Why there is no cookie banner
Technical cookies are needed for the site to work and do not require consent under European rules (Article 5(3) of Directive 2002/58/EC, Article 122 of the Italian Privacy Code and § 25(2) of the German TDDDG). Since we use only technical cookies, we do not show a consent banner.
What we do not use
We do not use analytics, profiling or advertising cookies, and we do not use tracking pixels from social networks. If this changes, we will update this page and ask for your consent before using them.
How to manage cookies
You can block or delete cookies at any time from your browser settings. If you block the language cookie, the site will not remember your language.
